Merry Christmas everyone!

It's been awhile. I'm in Singapore. Staying in my uncle's new house, it's gorgeous. Colonial style with a carp pond, pool, gym, bar, pool table. Crazy. I've never stayed in such a nice house before.

I stupidly forgot my bathing suit so had to go buy one. I think so far this is one of the best trips I've had so far. I've come back a lot but now that everyone's older and there's a spare car to drive it's even better.

It's so interesting to be in a tropical climate after coming from bleak 0 degree Vancouver. It's monsoon season, tons of thunderstorms. Palm trees everywhere.

I'm going to Orchard Road today hopefully. And hopefully dad will give me a ride.

So how's everyone's finals going? School is out so I could be at home but I refuse to go home because I know if I am in the comfort of home with my TV and lots of space to roam I will not study. Atleast in the dorm you have nothing but ur desk in ur room so it's easier to crack open the books than at home when ur books r downstairs and you can stay upstairs and avoid them.

I'm liking dorm life. It's so cool to have friends right next to you, luckily I like both my neighbors. Some people have the most fucked up neighbors. I swear, this dorm has some screwy people. One girl on the 4th floor brings in a guys from bars every weekend. *Shudders*.

I havn't left my dorm in...4 days, cept to walk to Shoppers on campus with a friend. But I havn't left campus or anything. I have to hermit in my hermitage. I think we are like caged animals lol we get fed 3x a day downstairs and we r confined to our rooms for the rest of the time. I hope I can stay here next year.

Dorm Gossip

So this dorm is supposed to be full of pious christians right? Well, it seems like the place is split in half. Half of the people r like sons and daughters of pastors and missionaries. They have never had bfs or gfs etc, the other 1/2 however is like a brothel. This one dude has 2 gfs wtf...and this chick who my friend calls the Queen Nasty brings in different guys each day. And this one group likes to get drunk and make fools out of themselves.

And we live next to a church...

Wow I finally have something to write about lol

I had the craziest day yesterday. On Mon night I got a call from my agent asking if I wanted to be a movie xtra so I said ok. But the prob is I'm on campus and I don't have a car and this movie is in Langley.

So dad works downtown so we worked it out.

Yesterday I got up at 7.30 am, got Gasing some breakfast from downstairs since he camped out in my room. He got to sleep in till 12 and get breakfast while I was running around. So 7.30 run downstairs get breakfast for Gasing from the caf, hop into car with dad, we drive downtown so I can drop him at work, the drive car bak to campus, park outside my building, eat breakfast in the caf, go upstairs where I went back to sleep for an hour. Then got up, put makeup on for movie, that took like 15 mins. Get changed go to class do a presentation. Do my presentation, ask to leave early and run back to my dorm to pack some stuff. Then hop into car, drive out to Langley. Shot from 2 pm till 9.30 pm at night. And I was there for only 1/2 the day.

It was a Chinese series coming out in March called Dragon Boys.  It's in english and all I think it's an action serial about gangsters etc. We shot in this abandoned building which they converted into a dingy apartment, it was pretty cool. There were like 9 other girls. One of my shots you don't see me cause I'm sitting in a chair in the background, but for the other I walk across the room and brush my hair lol. I wear jeans and this ugly longsleeved blue shirt they gave me. Some girls got pajamas but I didn't. I wanted the pajamas.We were these captives that were living together. I didn't recognize any of the actors.

After shoot I drove back in the fog, it was something, considering Langley has no streetlights in some places. Had to drive home to Coquitlam cause I had to give car back to parents. Luckily Coq is much closer than driving back to UBC.

So I went to bed really early cause I was exhausted-10.45 pm, then got up at 7.30 am to get a ride with parents back to school.

Nuts.

having your friend's take "photoshoots" of you in something that he probably chose, like a towel. Have some dignity and get someone that knows wut he's doing.

there's only one type of person that does "photoshoots" and those are real photographers. Not friends that you pay.

I know it sounds flattering if some random idiot wants to take your pic, but he's only going to make you look like a cheap slut that wants attention. *look at me I can pose sexily...rawr* Sure you get ur face on a website for awhile, but we're all laughing at you.

Girls, don't be a stupid fool. Any guy that wants to take your pics and brags about it on a website is probably looking down ur shirt while he's taking your picture and saving your pictures to jack off to.

The funniest thing is people pay for this lol

signs that you shouldn't let this guy take your pic:

-his pics of girls are so whited out-this is to hide that they looked horrible in the photos. Trust me. You know those card and sticker pics that you can take in asian malls? Why do you think the lighting is so bright an you look so whited out in the pics? It's cause the booth is trying to make EVERYONE look good, regardless of how many pimples you have or how troll-like you really are. If you're "photographer" whites out your pictures you are either

a) very unphotogenic

b) he took a horrible angle of you

-he shoots you in a very public place like the park or the mall-wow look who's trying to get attention

-your "bikini" shot isn't showing any skin, only your shoulders-well that is prolly that your body sux...

-his testimonials are all from friends who don't know shit about photography-go figure

I'm not wicked enough to put examples of pics, that's too cruel considering I don't know many of the victims.

However, this si the best solution if you want cute pics of yourself:

a) put your $ toward a real photographer. A good photographer really knows how to make you look good without whitening the hell out of your photos or having you hide your body through a strange angle.

b) get your bf or a friend who knows how to work a digi cam to take pics of you wherever you want, in whatever you want, and SAVE YOUR $
